Sherbrooke Forest lies at an altitude of 220-500 m within the Dandenong Ranges, 40 km east of Melbourne, in Victoria close to the suburb of Belgrave. The vegetation is classified as wet sclerophyll forest with the dominant tree species the mountain ash, Eucalyptus regnans, the tallest flowering plan

What to expect


Starting from Grants Picnic Ground, we'll take Lyrebird Walk track, then onto Neumann track, turnining left on Paddy track, continue onto Welch track, turning right onto Coles Ridge Rd, then onto Avard track and Hillclimb track, turning left on Odonohue track. We'll have lunch at Sherbrooke Picnic Ground then we'll take Sherbrooke Lodge Road to the cars.
