Goldfields Track – Daylesford (17km) Grade 2 (Easy)

Originally known as the Great Dividing Trail, the Goldfields track offers some of the most beautiful hiking in Victoria. A region steeped in history, you'll encounter forests, both natural and man-made, pastoral countryside and single track that in some places flow on grippy loam and in others jump

About the event

Starting from The Boathouse Café car park on Lake Daylseford we’ll take the Dry Diggins Track (Wallaby Track) towards Central Spring and then continue on towards Twin Bridges, then we head north on the Goldfields track pass Tipperary Spring and all the way to the Blowhole. We’ll have lunch and a rest at the Blowhole and return back to the Boathouse Café where we’ll have coffee (or whatever you like) and whenever we feel like it we’ll go home.

Join our group for bushwalks and hikes that span from 8 to 20 km, primarily featuring easy to moderate trails. After our adventures, we love to unwind over coffee or a meal, creating a space to connect with fellow members. Throughout the year, we also organize weekend getaways to stunning hiking spots in Victoria, like the Grampians and the Victorian Alps, with opportunities for multi-day walks. We embrace hikers of all ages and experience levels, cultivating a warm and inclusive community.
